This Webpage is dedicated to the Knox United Church - Agincourt Joint Search Committee (JSC).

 The focus of the JSC is to  fill the vacancy of the ministerial position that was created by the departure of Rev. Bruce Ervin in January 2011. Our objective is to fill the position by July 1, 2012. With updates on this webpage, inserts in the Knox Newsletter and worship folder announcements, the JSC intends to keep the congregation informed on the progress of the search.

 

JSC Meetings

In the September 16, 2011 meeting of the Knox Church Council, the following individuals were appointed to the Joint Search Committee:  Cheryl, Dave, Elaine, Barbara, Van, Manley, Lynella, Phil, Bob and Nick. The Toronto South-East Presbytery representatives are Rev. Johmann and Mary.

At its first meeting on October 3, 2011 the JSC appointed Nick as chairperson and Barbara, recording secretary.

The JSC meets periodically, as required, to do the business of the Committee at the call of the chairperson.

Applications are being received and the review will start in early January 2012 with interviews anticipated in February.
