Psalm 23 : 4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for thou are with me, thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
As members of the United Church of Canada, we affirm that “We are not alone, we live in God’s world…In life, in death, in life beyond death, God is with us.”
One of the ways in which the presence of the Holy One is manifested in death is through the support that the Church offers to those who grieve.
A funeral or memorial service at Knox United Church allows our church family to offer compassion and hospitality to the grieving, and to join in remembering and celebrating the lives of those who have gone from us. (Funeral policy)
