Traditional Worship Service

Worship services are held in the church sanctuary on Sunday mornings at 10:00 a.m. Worship is geared to be stimulating and meaningful. Although these services are "traditional", with choir and organ, sermon and scripture readings, they have evolved over the years. Time is reserved for sharing and celebrating good news and for updating the congregation on the life and work of the Church.
Children JK-Grade 6 participates during the Moment of Discovery then leave during the service to attend the Church School program. Care for infants and preschoolers are available in the Nursery

Moment of Discovery (Time with the children)

This takes place at about 10:15 a.m. as part of the Sunday morning worship. Children are welcomed into the sanctuary for the first part of the service. They are then invited to front to take part in the “Moment of Discovery” which is focused on conversation with the children about topics of interest and good deeds. They will then proceed to their church school program which includes drama, cooking, crafts, music and much more.

Choir members are volunteers who lead in music and song during worship each Sunday and in other special musical presentations during the year.
Our members and visitors are encouraged to wear a name tag, which helps everyone to be part of the Knox Family of Faith. Dress code ranges from suit and tie to casual; comfortable clothes are the rule during the summer.

Fellowship and Coffee Time

Immediately following the service, we enjoy fellowship and celebrate special occasions during the coffee hour in our Heritage Room downstairs.
The Welcoming Ministry is responsible for welcoming and developing follow-up for newcomers and visitors.
